Taylor Lautner sues trailer company for breach of contract and fraud

Taylor's dad filed a law suit in his name after paying $300,000 for a trailer that wasn't delivered on time and when delivered wasn't functional. The production company for Abduction didn't provide a trailer so he needed to buy his own and this company took his money but didn't follow through on the contract. Radar online has the original legal papers on line for everyone to read.

From Radar:

Taylor Lautner is suing a Southern California R.V. dealer for failing to deliver a trailer he was going to use while filming a movie. In a lawsuit for breach of contract and fraud filed on Tuesday, Lautner alleges that McMahon's RV didn't come through with a properly outfitted $300,000 2006 Affinity Country Coach RV on time.

The lawsuit alleges that Lautner's dad Dan made a deal for the R.V. on May 1, 2010, and that certain improvements would be made to the trailer by June 21, as Taylor was going to begin filming on a new movie and would need it by then. Producers of Lautner's film were going to pay his company $3,000 a week in lieu of providing a trailer. But that trailer didn't arrive in the proper condition.

The lawsuit documents state, "McMahons failed to timely complete the contracted-for-improvements for the Subject RV and further, failed to deliver the Subject RV to SKE in a safe and operative condition as scheduled on June 21, 2010. In fact, when McMahon ultimately delivered the RV, same had multiple safety related problems.....SKE and Taylor Lautner were deprived of the use of and occupancy of the Subject RV, which was preferred to any rented substitute RV resulting in displeasure, annoyance and emotional distress of Taylor Lautner."

The lawsuit is seeking unspecified punitive damages, and attorney's fees.

The Guy That Almost Became "Edward Cullen"

Colton Haynes wants everyone to know that he doesn't hate Robert Pattinson. In fact, he's never even met R.Pattz.

Why would people think he has a problem with Rob? Well, because Mr. Haynes auditioned for a certain starring role in Twilight…

Soon after Haynes started getting press for his work as a werewolf on ABC's Sunday-night vampire series The Gates, word got out that the 22-year-old former Abercrombie & Fitch model had read for the part of Edward Cullen.

"It's funny because I auditioned for it but it's not like it came down to me and Rob," Haynes told me earlier today. "But the headlines are 'Colton Hates Robert Pattinson!' or 'Colton On Hating Robert Pattinson.' I'm like, Are you kidding me? I don't even know him. It's more like, Congrats to him. He has a career that's going to last forever."

Besides, Haynes' career is coming along quite nicely, thankyouverymuch. Not only does he play watch-out-when-he's-angry Brett in The Gates, but he also appears in the upcoming Teen Wolf reboot on MTV (this time, he plays a human and not a four-legged killer) and Look on Showtime as a drug-fueled sex-crazed high schooler.

"He's a 17-year-old asshole who tries to be with this girl he likes in high school but she's a virgin," Haynes says of Look. "She won't sleep with him, so he starts making sex tapes with all her best friends.

"It's a blast," he laughed. "Showtime's all the drugs and sex and The Gates is the nice, teenage sensitive werewolf stuff. It's the best of both worlds."

Haynes was voted "Most Likely to Be Famous" in high school. Looks like he's having no problem living up to the title.

'Twilight' star Nikki Reed wants to be on 'True Blood'

HBO's "True Blood" may be against stunt casting in pretty much every way possible, but that still isn't stopping a few certain people from throwing their names into the ring as possible guest stars.

One of these individuals already knows quite a thing or two about vampires and the supernatural world -- Nikki Reed, who most people know as a star from the "Twilight" franchise. So why would she want to dip her toes into another vampire series? In a new chat with MTV News, she talks about working with "True Blood" star Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica), and how they each talk about crossing over:

"We’re both equally fascinated by I think the passion behind the admiration for vampires, I really love 'True Blood' and I envy her. I would do anything to have a guest spot on the show, hint hint.

"That’s what we talked about most, She was talking about 'Twilight,' and I was commenting on her show, and what we like about each other’s work, and I think that she wins."

Kellan Lutz Plans Pre-Breaking Dawn Vacation

Gearing up to take off, Kellan Lutz was spotted at LAX International Airport last night (August 18).

The “Twilight” stud looked to be in good spirits, sporting a big smile as he strolled through the terminal in a white v-neck, dark trousers, and a khaki cap.

Kellan says he’s looking forward to taking some vacation time before he gets down to business on the upcoming “Breaking Dawn” shoot.

“I actually just got back from doing three movies in a row, all back-to-back. It was really cool to be a part of those projects, but it’s nice to have down time, me time, dog time and family time.”

“And I want to go to Turkey really bad. Istanbul, Iceland and Ireland. And somewhere to get away and get a tan before I have to be all pale for a while. But just relaxing because “Breaking Dawn” is going to be a big movie to shoot.”

Dave Franco: Twilight is a Family Tradition For Us!

You're currently in New Mexico filming a remake of 'Fright Night' with Colin Farrell–can you tell us a little bit more about the project?

It's about a kid living next door to a vampire because every movie involves a vampire these days. This one is going to stand apart because it's a comedic horror movie and I don't think anyone's approached that angle with the vampire movies yet. It's an incredible cast: [Colin], Toni Colette, Anton Yelchin, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Really great cast and great director, this guy Craig Gillespie who directed Lars and the Real Girl.

It's been incredible, I play...I keep getting cast as this ass**** bully [Laughs] which is comical to me because I've never been in a fight in my life.

Is this going to be competing against Twilight?

It's definitely a different audience than Twilight. It's a very hard 'R,' very bloody, but it happens to be very funny too.

Have you seen any of the Twilight films?

I have seen Twilight. It's turned into a strange family tradition, we see the movies as a family now. I'm not quite sure why it's turned into a family tradition but...that's just how it is now.

New Taylor Lautner interview! Says Kristen is an expert kisser!

He says Kristen is a great kisser, he was disappointed with Eclipse, he likes his short shorts, wishes he was allowed to eat icecream and talks about Taylor Swift and whether or not she wrote a song about him.

Is there anything in particular that drives you to success?
The people around me. The people I love like my friends and family. They are the ones that drive to success.

What’s it like to become famous all of a sudden?
It’s exciting. This saga became the best platform to launch my career, and it was a great oportunity. I’m grateful because I have fun making movies and working with talented people.

What is the worst thing about fame?
There’s tons of good things and bad things. Obviously, the lack of privacy is bad. It’s not normal to go out and have dozens of cars with photographers waiting outside while you get your coffee. But like I said, there’s many good things too and I’m willing to put up with the inconviniences.

What do you do to keep your feet on the ground?
The answer is in the family members and friends that I’ve known for a while. This is our job, we live in the business world, but then we go back to normal. We can be famous, but in the end, our lives are as normal as anyone else’s. We stay at home and we don’t live the exciting lives people think. Keeping a balance in our lives is important, and I can’t lose that.

Being this popular, can you still go out on the streets and not be recognized?
Yes, but I hate to be creative. I might not go shopping or to the movies, but I have my favorite places, like certain restaurants that are not very famous. There are times when I don’t care and I go bowling. It might get a little complicated at times, but I still have fun, even if I go back home thinking I shouldn’t have gone out and I don’t go out for awhile.

How is you relationship with the paparazzi?
Sometimes it’s frustrating, but I can’t forget that it’s something that comes with the work. It’s hard to handle, but I don’t let it get to me too much, or else I’d go nuts. Stay patient is very important to me, and I have to ignore what bothers me.

What has been the weirdest experience with your fans?
I wouldn’t say weird, but definitely passionate. I was at a red carpet in Australia, and many of them would ask me to sign their arms. One of them had the wolfpack tattoo on her arm, it was a real tattoo. I signed my name under it and the next day someone told me she had gotten a tattoo of my signature. I didn’t know whether to feel guilty or flattered. That’s just too passionate.

Is here any competition between the actors of this movie?
None at all. I can’t imagine filming these movies without the friends I’ve made here. It would be a nightmare. Rob, Kristen and me are very close friends. Even when we’re not working, we try to see each other some weekends. It’s a healthy friendship that hope we can keep for a long time.

Last year you said Taylor Swift didn’t write you a song and a few days later she apperead on SNL singing to you. Is there now a song that we don’t know of?
If you can call that a song, than yes, that’s the only one. That’s all I know. i wish i could give you a more exciting answer.

Have you ever been in the middle of a love triangle in real life?
When I was in elementary school. Five of us wanted to be the boyfriend of the same girl. But it wasn’t anything serious, it wasn’t love. I would never want to be in the same siutation as any of the leads in Twilight.

Did you ever got into a fight for a girl?
If she’s important enough for me, yes I would do it. And yes, I have done it in the past.

Does your physique help? How have you managed to keep the muscles?
Sometimes I wish I could eat some icecream, and I do cheat, but when I have filming of a photoshoot coming up, I need to be strong to stay in shape. It’s hard to get muscles and it’s just as hard to keep them. When i’m too busy to go to the gym or if I don’t find enough time to eat, I can lose the muscles quickly, and it’s 10 times harder to recover them.

What’s different this time with Eclipse?
Honestly, I was disappointed. There were many action scenes for Jacob, but when the best stuff happens, Jacob is in his wolf form, so they left out some of the stuff I did on my own. At least I got to kiss Kristen for the first time ever. That was the best. She’s a great kisser.

Aside from Twilight, how do you choose your roles?
Pure instinct, depending on what I’m being offered. I have to read many scrips, and if I find a script that I like, I go for it. It depends on the story and the character. I like to challenge myself with different subjects, I don’t want to go down one road, I want to mix it up every now and then.

Will you be a superhero in your next movie?
No, but I hope I can be one soon. My next movie is called Abduction. The theme is very interesting- It’s about a teenager that finds his picture on the missing kids section of a website for missing people. He realizes his life is a lie.

Will we see your naked torso in this movie?
(laughs) No. Well, it’s to be determined.

Jacob has tons of shirtless scenes in the movies. Is that part of your contract?
It’s in the script. It’s funny to be in the middle of the street, leaning on a car and being shirtless. It was awkward. Everyone else was dressed except me. In my next movie there are no shirtless scenes. It all depends of the character. If I need to be shirtless or if I need to lose 33 lbs, I’ll do it.

What do you think about Breaking Dawn being two movies?
It’s a great idea. It’s hard to adapt a 500 page book into a 110 page script. And Breaking Dawn has 800 pages. The storylines are a bit more complicated with all the wolfpack stuff and the baby. It’s too much. One movie is not enough.

What was the best memory you have of Twilight. What will you miss the most when the movies are over?
I’ll miss the short shorts (laughs). I’ll miss them so much.

Are they any particular brand?
I don’t know, they’re just short shorts. I have no idea. But now that you asked me I need to know, next time I’ll wear them I’ll check them out.

Tom Sturridge Joins "On The Road" with Kristen Stewart

Bringing confirmation to recent rumors, Kristen Stewart has a new "On the Road" co-star in actor Tom Sturridge.

According to Gossip Cop, the English actor - who happens to be good pals with Robert Pattinson - has indeed been cast in the Jack Kerouac adapted project.

Talk of Tom being in the film kicked off after Miss Stewart was spotted spending time with him up in Montreal at the beginning of the week, with his rep having since told Gossip Cop, “He is filming in Canada at the moment for On The Road."

Directed by Walter Salles, "On the Road" is about "a young man who sets out to travel the roads and railways of America."

Kellan Lutz Talks About Robert and Kristen In New Interview

Tell me what it’s like on set with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
Really fun, we have so many inside jokes now and again we don’t get sick of each other because these movies are only three to four months of shooting and then we’re off doing our own thing. And then we get excited to come back and it’s like a great family reunion. I can’t wait. I really can’t wait. I don’t think many actors who are part of trilogies or sagas can say that and really can’t wait to get back to the cast again. Share stories and make more memories.

Do you keep in touch with your co-stars outside of filming?
Yes, that’s the really cool thing about acting. You build these friendships and anytime you can spend time with a person for months, and hours on set, you really learn a lot about someone. And you’re going to be there for a while you might as well make some best friends out of it. It’s a dream to be in an industry that’s very fickle and to find friendships.

Are you excited for the saga to continue or are you looking forward to new projects?
I love it. It’s been a blessing to me. I haven’t really had time to look at what it was. Five years from now I’ll really appreciate it. But it’s opened up so many doors. It’s allowed me to mold my career in the action route, which I would love to do. I love doing stunts, I love doing action movies.

Has Robert Pattinson Derailed Zac Efron's Career?

With Zac Efron's latest film, the romance 'Charlie St. Cloud,' now an official box office disaster, everyone is asking what happened to the 'High School Musical' golden goose. The answer, two words: Robert Pattinson.

"Robert is the new King of all the screaming girls at this moment and they have forgotten Zac. You only need to look at this years MTV Movie Awards, when Zac entered the girls were excited but when Robert walked in the place went nuts," relationship expert Matt Titus tells me. "Twilight has changed everything and Robert Pattison gets it. He says nothing, and acts mysteriously. This is what teenage girls really want right now."

However, it seems that Zac has received that memo too. Switching from his more playful roles to ones that focus on his character rather than his pretty-boy looks have come at a huge box office cost.

"Hollywood only cares about making money," one producer tells me. "We honestly don't care if Zac is singing 'Hello Dolly' or playing a vampire, as long as he sells tickets. That fact that 'Charlie St. Cloud' dropped a whopping 60% in its second week following a very mediocre opening tells me Zac should speak less, smile more and take off as much clothing as possible. Or else he will end up like countless other pinup popcorn actors and actresses that decided that they all of a sudden wanted to be taken seriously when all their fans."

Joe Neumaier, film critic for the New York Daily News, thinks Patz isn't Zac's biggest problem, telling me, "I blame an overcrowded pin-up boy field. Yes, Rob Pattinson is in that jam-packed yearbook but so is Taylor Lautner, some 'Gossip Girl' boys, Shia LaBeouf, the 'Glee' guys and at least one Jonas brother. All these young dudes are now starting to cancel each other out. I think at this point, there's only so many dewy-eyed sulking guys girls can keep track of."

PopEater's own Celebenomics columnist, Jo Piazza, agrees. "Efron is in an oversaturated market for adorably coiffed young gentlemen of a certain age with nothing to differentiate him. He isn't as edgy as Robert Pattinson, as heartthrobby as Chace Crawford or as cutesy as Bieber. His claim to fame, 'High School Musical' was too quickly eclipsed by 'Glee.' There is no demand out there right now for a product that is specifically Efron."

So is Zac career really over at a tender 22-years of age? Please say this isn't true!!!

"I don't think Zac Efron has a career problem. I just think that he made a movie that didn't connect with an audience. This film didn't have mass appeal and was a departure from Efron's normal roles. His audience didn't follow. He needs to choose his next role wisely, but he absolutely still has a career," Tina Wells, Author of tween book series Mackenzie Blue & CEO, Buzz Marketing Group told me.

So, let's hope Zac is listening because it sounds like it's time to dust of those tap shoes, break out the Jazz hands and start warming up those vocal chords. Stop trying to be Robert Pattinson and start being yourself again.

"Zac needs to stick with his strengths," Paul Dergarabedian, President of Box-office Division of Hollywood.com says. "Singing, dancing and comedy." And leave the depressing stuff to Mr. Pattinson.
